Billabong Air&Style Finals – Marko Grilc Moves to World No.1

News Flash: After a night of action on the big air jump at the 6Star TTR Billabong Air & Style 2009/II in Innsbruck, Austria, Marko Grilc took the top spot on the podium and is now the new leader on Swatch TTR World Tour. Grilc was not on the original invite list, but after two injures during practice for the main event, he was given a spot in the legendary snowboard competition.

Arctic Challenge – Peetu Piiroinen TTR World Champion

One of the most impressive snowboard athletes in the world today, Peetu Piiroinen (FIN), reconfirmed his reputation with a first place finish at the coveted 6Star Oakley Arctic Challenge. The thousands of fans at Tryvann Vinterpark in Oslo, Norway witnessed a piece of snowboarding history as 21-year old Peetu Piiroinen took first place in todays slopestyle competition, and with an additional 1000 TTR ranking points on his account, he took an unassailable lead in the TTR World Rankings.
