TTR Burton European Open 2010 Promo

At the BEO, amateurs from around the globe get the chance to challenge the world’s top pro riders at the White Arena in Laax, Switzerland, from January 9th to 16th, 2010. Celebrating the 11th annual Burton European Open Snowboarding Championships, event organizers have created a Circus theme to highlight the fun and daring spirit of the sport! Todays and tomorrows stars will dazzle viewers with their bag of tricks and wow you with their performance in the slopestyle and halfpipe. The best riders of this 2nd stop of the Burton Global Open Series and 6Star TTR event will snatch a piece of the US$125.000 prize purse. With 8 days of high level competitions and 400 competitors, the BEO is the biggest snowboard event in Europe.

Mark McMorris is Slopestyle World Snowboard Tour Champion 2012/13

Dominating all season on the 6Star level, winning both X Games and the Burton US Open, Mark McMorris is the strongest Slopestyle rider on the planet. At the Burton US Open in Vail, Mark finally beat Peetu Piiroinen (FIN) andTorstein Horgmo (NOR) for the Slopestyle Title. ”I didn’t know that I won the Tour Championship until I was told in the interview straight after the final, but it’s a real honor to get this award, it means you’re consistent over the season and that gives confidence. I am happy!”
