What is your favourite place to ride and why?
My favorite place to ride is Breck, in Colorado. It’s so much fun every time I go there and the set-ups are always perfect. I’m really happy that I moved there this season and get to ride there every day!

What age did you start snowboarding?
I started snowboarding when I was 7 years old, joined a team when I was 8, and started competing when I was 9.

What snowboarders do you most look up to?
I most look up to Kelly Clark and Jamie Anderson. I look up to Kelly because she’s always trying to progress even though she’s already on top. I look up to Jamie because she’s got such smooth style and she’s a really smart competitor.

What do you focus on most – slopestyle? Pipe? Big Air? and why?
I focus mostly on slopestyle because that’s where I’ve had the most success in the past. I also like it a bit more than other aspects of snowboarding because it gives you more freedom and it’s easier to incorporate your own style into your riding.

What is your most memorable snowboarding experience?
My most memorable snowboarding experience was probably being able to go to the Arctic Challange last year. It was my dream goal in the begining of the season and I was really pumped to be around such good riders at such an amazing venue.

Your on the road a lot throughout the season – what is your favourite place to visit and why?
My favorite place to visit is probably Wanaka, New Zealand because it’s so beautiful and it has an awesome town to hang out in. I probably like it the most because it’s such a good place to chill even when you’re off snow.

What does a normal day consist of for you when your not snowboarding?
On a normal day when I’m not snowboarding, I usually sleep really late (until like 10-11), make myself a big breakfast, do a lot of school-work, watch a movie, have dinner, more schoolwork, and then go to bed. It’s not all that exciting. During the off seasons I go back to school in Stowe, so I’ll be there from 8am until 3pm and then have sports practice until about 5.

How has TTR affected your snowboarding career?
TTR has been such a huge part of my career. I was really young when I got to the point in my career where I was ready to do bigger events. I couldn’t do any of the FIS ones because they all had age restrictions, and so I spent my winters on the TTR tour when I was 11 and 12. After that, I started getting invited to a bunch of the contests and that’s still pretty much the only tour that I do consistently. I think that all of the sponsors that I’ve gotten have been thanks to my results while competing in TTR 5 and 6 star events.
