Swatch and the TTR World Snowboard Tour launch the Swatch TTR Trophy Art Rules Design Contest and offer YOU a chance to make yourself a name in the design and snowboarding world around the globe. The Swatch TTR Tour is symbolised by its trophy, which is handed out at the end of the competitive season to the male and female Swatch TTR World Snowboard Champion. This trophy carries along the prestige of being the most respected snowboarding tour on the planet and is awarded to only the utter most top of athletes. For the 2010/11 season, a new trophy has been carefully crafted by the renowned German Coarse artist Mark Landwehr. The resin statue is 36 cm (14,4 “) high, weighs 4,5 kg (10,5 pounds) and it’s dashing looks make Oscar look downright plain.We want to invite all of you creative minds out there to participate in the Swatch TTR Trophy 2010/2011 Art Rules Design Contest to create a unique design vision that represents the nature of the Swatch TTR Tour. You get the one chance of a lifetime to be part of the design outlook that fits in with the Coarse statue along with a new Swatch TTR watch to match, which will be produced and distributed worldwide in 2010/11. This will not only let you play an important role in the Swatch TTR World Snowboard Tour season but will also bring you worldwide recognition and press coverage. You think thats all?! By far not! Apart from the fame and glory that comes along with being the designer of this unique Oscar of Snowboarding, a two week creative vacation to Shanghai, including transportation and accommodation costs plus pocket money will be handed out.
