Blizzard conditions force Stylewars Grandmaster title to be held off until 2011 Unlucky for all the riders and organizers involved, blizzard conditions across all four days of competition forced Stylewars to be cancelled this year. With Falls Creek Resort reporting the biggest dump since 1992, visibility was a huge concern. And with the safety of all those involved an enormous priority, it was decided that no competition was be to held and that only the annual 28 Stairs event would continue. This was a huge disappointment for everyone, especially to many of the riders who were super keen to hit up the world-class terrain park this year. The park featured two huge jumps (a 70-foot step-down and an 85-foot gap jump), a giant snow butter-box and an up-and-over pyramid wall-ride. You can check out the photos of park set-up taken a few days before competition at the Stylewars Media site (under Sunday 22th August – Stylewars: Sunday Park Set Up Photos).
