Saas-Fee, Switzerland, April 11th, 2008: What a season its been. The action began all the way back in July of 2007 and the Swatch TTR World Snowboard Tour has finally reached its final stop of the 07/08 season with the 4-Star Snickers Classic & Popcorn Wallride. Riders have been shreddin hard all season long but its not over yet with Saas-Fee, Switzerland in store for some tasty treats from April 17th to 20th 2008. Up for the taking is a $25 000 USD prize purse and 700 TTR Ranking points for the victor. The Snickers Classic boasts a sick Slopestyle course and an 8 m high wall ride, all put together by Frederik Kalbermatten and Marco Schwab and the competition already has a well rounded line up of riders set to rip it up. The overall winner will be crowned _King of Popcorn 2008. Morgan Le Faucher (FRA), Germany and Austrias leading riders in the TTR rankings Allessandro Boyens (GER) and Rudi Kroell (AUT), Martin Cernik (CZE) and TTR No. 17 Iouri Podladtchikov (SUI) are just a few of the invited riders expected to toss and mix it up in Saas-Fee. Big news for the final 4-Star event of the Swatch TTR Tour is that Shaun White (USA) could be making an appearance. After posting five exceptional results from top-level competitions on the Tour, Shaun will be looking to improve his end-of-season ranking by earning his 6th and final result in Saas-Fee. Nevertheless, Kevin Pearce (USA) will remain the TTR Tour Champion following an incredible season that lead up to the Tour defining, and Champion crowning event, the 6-Star Burton US Open. While the Swatch TTR 4-Star Snickers Classic & Popcorn Wallride guarantees electrifying riding and shredding on all fronts, the revved up madness will continue with legendary parties in the Popcorn and Living Room Bar with titillating beats and sounds from DJ Stylewarz, Igor Podladtchikov and Scott Sullivan and the Kin.
